Default New Rims & Tires & Dragonfly Fairing

First I want to thank Hogpro for getting me my rims before street vibrations. I got the Renegade rims that are called Aspens. 21 X 3.25 and 18 X 4.25 and Metezlers 120 in the front and 150 in the back with 70 sersies side wall. Just so you know with the new tires, thefronts are 1/2" narrower than stock and therear is 1/2" wider than stock. The first thing I notice is it felt a little funny coming to a stop, like a tippy feeling. After a100 miles it felt like the stock rims and tires. First thing the ride is 100% better. The bike rode smoother and any of the inperfections in the road were now gone, as if they were not even therel. Also any bumps were hardly noticable. Even the deflectors were hard to feel when going over them. The rubber on the Met's is softer so it takes the bumps why better and the ride is better. Now, as fas as corning? My Road King is now a sport bike! It corners like a dream not to mention going slow, turning is a breeze. I can acutally turn tighter with the new rims. The 21 X 18 combo is differently the way to go.

Well, Saturday I was at street vibrations and I couldn't help myself. I've been wanting a fairing ever since I bought my bike. I've been looking at every company that's makes them! I decided to go with Dragonfly, because of the looks and the way it's setup. I meet Kevin who own's Dragonfly and he is the nices guy you could ever meet. I walk up to him and told him what I wanted and he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of even though there were lots of customers. Great customer service. When I got the fairing home and look at it, this fairing is top of the line. The paint matched dead on and the 6X9's are awesome to say the least. I can hear my music clear as day at 80 mph. In my opinion I got the right fairing. Here's some pic's let me know what you all think. Thanks

Oh I almost forgot, I put the reduce reach handlebars and I didn't have to change any of the wires. Thanks to some of the members here they saved me a ton. The stealers told me I would have to change everything to put the bars on.

Looks great! Pic from the back would be nice. If you don't mind me asking, how much for your new wheels and tires? I'm in the market for the same kind of set-up. Thanks!

Looks awesome! I noticed exactly the same thing about the ride and handling. I lowered the front an inch with the lowering kit because I have installed the lower rear shocks and I really like how this bike of mine rides and feels. I just posted yesterday in another thread that I thought my bike has more of a sport bike feel now. I have always found 16" wheels to be what I call lazy handling. Many years ago I had a bike for 8 years with a 21" front wheel and after that I had a bike with the 19" then bikes with 16" fronts and I have always disliked the 16" for handling. I am really impressed with now having the 21" on my Roadglide and will never have anything but a 21" front again.
