Been saving this for a while, it happened back in Aug right before moving back to Idaho from Texas. Quick version, I was rushing, riding the bike up a triple wide, arched ramp into the back of my 2wd GMC pick-m-up. I had done it before, I just was rushing. I was able to jump off the bike, it never hit me! Lucky for me there were a bunch of moving guys around to help me stand it back up. Shattered the windshield (a 4 in fastairone), broke 1 fairing mounted mirror, scrapped the inner and outer fairings (but not too bad). Scrapes on both saddlebag lids, tiny tear in the seat button and slightly bent the handle bars. Worst thing is a dent in the tank, there, but not terrible. Bottom line, cost me around $280 to get it back on the road looking good, got a $4200 check from the insurance co. Will be spending the money on the motor.......
Poor pic quality is from my cell phone. I was pissed at the time (who wouldn't be!), but just AMAZING how little damage there was.

You're a bigger man than me. It takes a real man to admit when he REALLY screwed up. Looks like you found a way to make a positive out of a negative. Good insurance!
Dude, can't believe you let it sit upside down long enough to shoot a couple of pictures. I would have been freakin the phu# out and flipped it back over by myself long before I would have thought about whippin out my cell to take a pic. More money than brains right? Can't wait for your 200th post.
