Took the weekend, but the engine is apart, and will box it up tomorrow to ship the lower end to DarkHorse in Wisc for JIM's crank setup- balancing, Timken Bearing conversion and case boring. HQ 120" build is on its way.
Man is there a sh*load of parts when you tear an Ultra all the way down to the cases. Actually glad that winter is setting in, wont have parts back for two - four weeks, and then I can take my time putting it together.
And to think... I went for a little ride today and was all hyped about my little old HQ cams I got ordered Friday. I can hardly wait till they get here so I can bump up to hopefully around 85/89 hp and 93/98 tq. I am taking good notes on all these big builds though. I may just get there one day.....
Sweet! sent my heads off last week, just doing a lilttle 113"( guess I need something to do next year), Im sending them to get diamond cut before assembly so lots of waiting for me.
