I stripped my deluxe down for paint and a new set of billet wheels that I will make for it. My 16" apes are powdercoated black now, but I think I want to switch them out for something a bit different is shape. Maybe a Carlini Flyin' Ape or some "Z" bar shape.
Anyway, I'm getting a hard-on thinking about different apes. Can you please post your bike with apes here???
Consider it an "Ape ****" thread:
I have video of Chrome Lady's Deluxe after paint and wheels for those people that like to watch video ****:
First I will say that you have one beautiful bike there.
Secondly, in the second video, You cracked me up with all the looking around! :-)
Thanks. Figures my wife's bike is nicer than mine! [:@]
I was looking around because I just got done the assembly of the bike and the ploished brakes rotors were not broken in. Stopped like crap! After a few break in stops, it was fine.
I like those bars! Was it a pain in the butt to run the wiring thru those sharp bends in the bars? Are they comfortable? It doesn't look like there is much pullback.
