FATBOB RACETUNER
I just ordered Harley's with a Stage II & Rush slip ons. Less hassle and it's covered under warranty (doesn't change the warranty either) since the shop is doing at time of purchase.

sert jeopardizes the warranty, period.
the dealer must put anything else in writing.

It is up to your dealer, I just spoke with my dealer and they said that if they did the work it would be covered under the warranty, so basically they stand by the work they do to your bike, if it gets screwed up based on work they do, then they will cover it under the warranty to fix it, at least that is how I understand it.
mud ya can have yer know-it-all attitude all ya want if that's what makes ya happy or you can realize post count doesn't really matter.
fact is, you have no idea what your talkign about re: this legal matter. i'd suggest u stick to chopping up air cleaners.

yes, i was not informed at the time of purchase that it's the dealer's choice on the race tuner specifically. i had the finance manager tell me it's covered if they install it and the owner's son tell me later quote - "you already blew your warranty when ya got the sert." i had the attorney i use for my business get the facts sorted out. i won't go into the details of that effort.
fact is based on how this dealer and many others operate, they tell ya what ya want to hear when yer on the fence but when **** hits the fan you better have a credit card with a large available balance cuz yer gonna be paying-
