Putting the bike on the Dyno is for tuning to maximum efficiency.... You may gain some HP but the Idea is to get both front and rear cylinders equal.... and the A/F in the right range for max efficiency...=max power for what you have, cooler running and Longevity.. The term is Dyno Tune... The exhaust and A/C will provide theincrease in power but it takes a good tuner & the right fuel manager to bring it out...and run efficient

And the masked man strikes again - LOL!

O6 harley - Don't be going looking for numbers, goal should be getting the bike to run it's best as trotter said. If it's running pretty ok now, you might want to wait on the dyno until you verify if you have stage 1 and do the a/c, otherwise likely will have to redo the dyno. You didn't mention if you have a fuel management system (SERT, PCIII, etc) on it if it's injected, might need to include that before the dyno.

As Trotter said its good for the motor. My 06 street bob ran like crap with stage 1 down load lots of popping on decel.
I am running SE/AC with KN filter and Rinehart slip-ons. I am using a PCIII for fuel management . I had my bike dyno tuned at a reputable Indy shop about 18 months ago.
It now runs stronger, better throttle response , and much cooler. IMO a good investment. The dyno tuning sessionwill run you $200 - $300.

after mods and a dyno when should you dyno again after it is tuned. After another mod or shoulddyno be a periodic maintenance?
