my bike seems to be vibrating heavily when I give it a little gas ... seems to be at a certain rpm range( no tach so I don't know the rpms but maybe 250-500 rpms above idle) does it sitting or riding.... all the mounts are tight.... any help would be greatly appreciated.
there was a discussion recently about vibration, and having something to do with the front motor mount being stressed and weakening.
Dont know if its the same thing for you, but you might want to check it out.
I cant remember where I read this.
Then again, I have a hard time remembering my name too.
I dont know if u fixed it yet but ub & i fixed it by putting a thin fubber hand made washer between the brake & footpeg mount .
there was to much side to side movement inthe brake armand that made it 80% better , a piece or two from a pushbike tube or somthing like that.
Hey Rounder have you checked your primary chain? There might be just enough slack to give you a chain harmonic vibration. If you don't already have one put in a M6 chain tensioner, they are the cat's meow. That's a good lookin 05.
