RE: Riding the Badlands, Beartooth, Chief Joseph & Glacier
Jrsess
Winter riding isn't as bad as one might think up here. Just wear more clothes and stay out of the mountains. I rode three days in FEB; 276 mile, 160 mile and 90 mile days. We rode 180 yesterday and 260 today. We get a weather break 2 or 3 times a month. Actually more, but only 2 or 3 hit on the weekends when I'm off work. Seems like Mondays are always the nicest day of the week. It's supposed to get over 60 tomorrow[8D]. The cool thing is on my 260 mile day today I only saw6 other bikes and less than 15 cars. The roads seemed to be all for me!
Honestly, 70 degrees instead of 52 would have been nice though.
