For those riders that have purchased the RJS Originals V-twin Heat Deflectors, "No More Fried Thighs!!!" for their scoots, prior to the new 08's. Have asked if their Deflectors could be mounted on the new 08's. The answer is, yes they can! (2) 11/64ths spacers are required to be placed under the existing rear mounting bolts of the new 6 gallon gas tanks. This spacing will not change the look portrayed by the OEM. It only raises the catch that the seat needs to capture. Allowing the installation of our product and the reinsertion of seat to be a piece of cake.
I know this is old news but I am trying to decide whats best to beat the heat on my 07 ultra. I am planning on installing fuel management system just trying to decide which one. I have already installed V&H slip ons, oil cooler, stage 1 and syn 3. Helped a little but still hot so I guess I am forced to spend the $$ on a fuel maagement system. Any thoughts on which is best and should I still get aftermarket O2 repalcements are can I leave the OEM ?
Bottom line is the monies your willing to part with. My product is a hell of alot cheaper than the fuel management system. Even sitting over 100 degrees can still be uncomfortable, and there's no way that management system is gonna allow your scoot to operate at that temp. Just my 2 cents.

here's a pic of RJs installed. Really does make a difference in the heat that used to fry the "boys". They are a snap to install and look like they are part of the bike. they blend well with the seat. Plus, Zoood is one of the best people to deal with. A real stand up guy (and a vet and fellow biker) who really cares about customer service.
