Default Hot You say!

I never paid much attention about the heat coming off my bikes until I started reading about all the complaining about the 07 here. It was about 80 last night and 90 today and yes, my bike is HOT! Always has been and probably always will be. I am accustom to the heat only because to me it is normal seeing the rear cyl and oil tank is under my ***** on the Duce and the cyl and crossover of the Ultra. Are we sure we are not complaining about something that is just normal when we are subjecting our selves to straddling a hot motor and exhaust?&nbsp\\; Or is the heat just that much more on the later bikes because I could not imagine it being any hotter. I could fry eggs on my seat in traffic or parade.

The 96 is much hotter than the 88. Where I live it is easy to get stuck in traffic, that is when the problem becomes unbearable.

Live in the Palm Springs Area where its nothing to have 120+ degree heat. My 07 RG runs 20 to 35 degrees HOTTER then my 01 RKC under the same conditions.

Just turned an 88 into a 96 - traded an 06 Road King for an 08 Ultra. The ultra is definitely hotter.

Unless you want to trade you've got what you've got.&nbsp\\; Harley's are hot, always have been.&nbsp\\; If it gets too bad get something other than a scoot with an&nbsp\\;air cooled engine.
