creaks in rear suspension

creaks in rear suspension

my neighbor has a new fatboy and pointed out to me that when he sits on the bike heavy or hits a decent bump in the road, the rear suspension creaks.

turns out i sat on my deluxe hard to see if mine was like that and sh*t it was.

anyone know if its a bushing or some other problem that causes this??

My 06 Night Train was creaking also. I sprayed a small amount of silcone into the holes on both shocks where the spanner tool is used to adjust the setings. Problem solved.....

I get a creak when I first sit on 02 Fatboy. To me it sounds like something needs a little grease. I will check it at my 10,000.

I've had it on my Night Train. I was told that it's caused by dirt in the rear suspension. Whenever my ride is in for service, I have them clean it out and the creak goes away for a while.
