Default update on my newer 25 degree injectors--must read

heres my update. i fought with my purchase dealer several times about replacing my injectors, i told them the problems when the bike was bone stock. no help they said let it break in. so after some great advice on here i decided to get the rinehart true duals and pcIII. went back at my 1000 mile service & told them i was still having problems (being lean, surge, and startups). they said we wont do a thing until we dyno it and that takes 6 hours. i was furious at this time, so i called another dealer and told them my situation, they kindly told me over the phone yes over the phone that there is an issue with the 06s and they will gladly replace the injectors under warranty set me up and i went to my appointment--------------------------------------this place was freaking awesome. i was so happy they got me in, that i bought them a dozen donuts and was the first one there. they kindly thanked me and said we will get on my bike first thing. my mechanic talked directly to me and told me exactly what he was going to do. he replaced the injectors in 30 minutes on the dime and put in the new stock download for the injectors. at that time he told me he had a better map that he would like to try for my pcIII and i told him to install it. get this, he was so helpful he let me go in the shop with him and explain another problem i was having on my bike. the front forks have a squeak over every bump i hit. it wasnt bad but it irritated the hell out of me. he had 3 guys come over and help listen and they found the problem, so its back on the lift and he fixed that problem in about 30 minutes. i told him my purchace dealer had the bike all day and they could not find the noise and that it was probably normal. the mechanic laughed and said they know better. this is not normal. he also put new hand grips on the bike, and this was the only service i was charged for. my total came to $32 and i assured them they were my new dealer. i am thuroughly sick and tired of the lies from my purchace dealer, and notified them , i have alot of friends and clients in my area and i will never recommend them again, they were very appologetic, and assured me the would do theyre best to not let this happen again. sorry too late i found some honest people that want to help and thats where ill be going. to finish this all the map they installed to the pcIII was good. i had to tweek it a little but it seems to be almost dead on until i get a custom dyno. also the bike runs great with the 25 degree injectors, it ran great with the 8s after i installed the pcIII, but i wanted the newer injectors for security. plus it took 30 minutes and thats no lie. so what is the big deal with all these dealers not replacing them. im beginning to think this injector issue was all done on purpose, so they could make the cash trying to fix them on the dyno for 4+ hours. oh yea my purchace dealer told me 6 hours on the dyno. my new dealer told me 4 tops. ---------to make along story short i would suggest that if you are having problems with your dealer, dont feel obligated to give them your money. make a call and see if your problems cant be fixed elsewhere. its summer and its beautiful out. drive the extra time and get it done right.

Why dont you tell us the dealer who gave you great service, I would also rat out the bad dealer as well, but thats just me. I also just had the 25s installed on my Ultra, seems to run a little better, thank goodness I didnt have to go through what you did. Glad you got it fixed.

i got the warranty also . you should be able to get yours fixed at another dealer, the new dealer didnt even ask me for any paper work . they just fixed it. it doesnt matter where you bought the bike

im not exacctly sure what that is, regardless your bike has a manufactured warranty. dont let your dealer tell you that means they are the only one that can fix youre bike. so you mean you payed extra and can only go to your dealer? bullshI%. any certified mechanic can do warranty work.

It is always good to hear of stories from good dealers. How about a little info on what they did to take care of the brakes??

the breaks were not the problem. the problem was in the forks. i didnt see exactly what they did but he said he took it apart and relieved the pressure in the front shock then then put it back down and it took care of it, no parts needed
