Default Superglide - T Bars - Guage Relocation

My brother bought a Superglide the same time I bought my Bob.

He's done some mods to it and I think it's looking pretty nice!

He's got some of my wrinkle black pieces on it, the Progressive lowering shocks, PC III and K&N.

We did the T-bars, hidden wires and guage relocation. The Speedo bracket is from an older model Dyna and the bracket fits it to the bars. All cables are stock.

I like those bars...looking to go that direction too. What is the rise and pullback? What year speedo bracket fit? Good looking ride.

I like the look of those bars on there. I assume that mount is from Accutronix?

Looks good! How did the wiring go on those bars as far as getting around the corner where the bars meet the risers?

Mascman,

I assume that you used the factory oem wires and cables?

Thanks,
John

The cables are stock.

For the wiring, we just cut the stock wires and added about a 4" piece to each one. It may have been a little more than we needed, but the stock ones didn't look long enough when we started...afterwards, we thought it may have been possible to leave them stock length.

He used the fishing string and weight method to string them. It was a little tough getting past the right angle bend, but not too bad.

I don't know how others feel about cutting/splicing your stock wiring, but it was a time saver.

I remembere that he ordered it at the dealers from a Drag Specialties book, but I don't think it actually had a brand name listed. It was $100.00.

Can you post some more pictures like a straight side shot and then get a close up underneath the gauge where the indicator light cabling goes into the gauge mount? It's very hard to see but it almost looks like there are bare wires showing underneath the speedo gauge.
