The Classic Tour pack will fit using docking hardware and so will the Chopped Tour Pack.

Here's a pic of the King Tour-pac on my SG. It's quick detachable - comes on or off in less than a minute. This thing holds a LOT of gear.

If I may ask, what is the cost to put one of these on? I understand you have to buy the Tour Pack, and the Rack attatchment too, but what else? Does it come with the back pad for the passenger? Does it come with the Tour Pack inside Liner? Anything else you have to buy to complete the job?

If you order through a discounter like Chicago HD or Zanotti's it is cheaper (these prices might be a tick off since they are several months old):

53270-06xxx - SG King Tour Pak - $540 - (xxx is paint code)
53276-04 - detachable two-up rack - $136
53848-00 - keyed to match locks - $16
51634-06 - SG King Tour Pack back rest - $168 - (any King Tour Pack backrest will fit if you changed seat to other than SG stitching)
53804-06 - 2-up docking hardware - $48

shipping will be $30-50 so you are looking in the neighborhood of $950... far cheaper than catalog. Again prices might have changed.

Bob,

Please see Shearpin's post above. Everything he listed is exactly what you need. However, one item that he omitted in his post is the tour-pack liner, which I also bought. It's not mandatory to have it, but it sure adds a nice touch to the tour-pack, in addition to keeping things from getting scratched up inside. The tour-pack only comes with a rubber floor mat. Unfortunately, the backrest pad and tour-pack liner are not included with the tour-pack purchase - they need to be bought separately. I bought everything through M&M Cycles, and the total, including shipping, came in just over $1000.

One note about the tour-pack liner - it comes with indentations for the light kit in the corners, such as what you see on an Ultra. The HD catalog shows 2 different types or liners, and I tried them both and returned one. Both models have the indentations. I ended up keeping the deluxe fitted model, p/n 53301-06. Cost was about $60 (list is $75). The indentations take away from a little bit of packing space, but not too much. The liner for the chopped tour-pack does not have the indentations because there is no way to put the lighting kit on it. Even with the liner indentations, my King tour-pack holds a LOT of gear, which is important to me since I do a lot of long distance touring.

My king tour-pack by itself cost $583 through M&M - that's 20% off of the $729 list price. Mine lists for a little more because of the black pearl paint. Good luck!
