Default Can I ride without the oil pressure switch?

Tearing down the engine, I pulled the oil pressure switch a little to hard and undid some of its wiring, according to other members it's a relatively cheap component and/or easy to fix. Can I ride the bike like this in the meantime? Fixing it should take a day or two, buying it would take 3-4 weeks...

A fresh rebuild w/ no OPS? No way in hell I would!

Why cant you put a terminal on the wire and hook back up? Did you damage the OPS?

Get a nut and crimp an eyelet to the wire. Good to go. Sensor is fine.

Nah, I don't think it's damaged. I just need to reconnect, but I'm not sure what's the best way to do it.

First you need an eyelet connector.

Then I think its a 10-32 nut.

This will make for a better connection than the factory push on connection.
