I don't think that my Superglide has enough lights at night to be seen from the rear. One brake/running red light stock from HD is not safe enough for me. Can you suggest a solution for more lrunning lights on the rear of my Superglide. Photos for a good setup would be nice also.
One thing to look at before adding more lights is to replace your tail light assembly with an LED array, and wire a "back off" black box into the system. The LEDs increase the brightness, and the black box will flash the lights when you brake. You can also install a module that will allow your turn signals to act as running lights, too. Install LED arrays in them and you might have enough light to satisfy you.
David, I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my bike. It definitely makes a difference in being seen and with the amount of traffic here in Houston I'm thinking it might be a good idea.
