Say Hello to the Go-Kart from Hell
We’re no stranger to motorcycle powered go-karts around here. It’s been a fan favorite for all of us, just because it offers an experience that is unlike anything else. Motorcycle engines are the perfect go to for go-kart builders due to their relative inexpensiveness and amazing power to weight figures. Most of these extreme go-karts however, are Suzuki Hayabusa powered due to the ‘Busa’s amazing power delivery. This one though, isn’t, and is rather powered by the ‘Busa’s little brother, the GSX-R 1000.
The GSX-R1000 engine produces over 150 horsepower, and that combines with essentially a curb weight of a Harley-Davidson Road Glide, and you’ve got something absolutely terrifyingly fun. The video below not only shows off the engineering that went into building this ridiculous go-kart, but also shows what this little go-kart can do when handled with precision. It looks like a drifters wet dream.
