Harley-Davidson Readies Sophmore Year of Pro Street Breakout CVO
Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations unit has captured the attention of American speed seekers making-for an easy return of the Pro Street Breakout CVO in 2017. The riders over at MotorcycleCruiser.com highlighted the PSB CVO’s return recently and seems just as jumpy as the two-wheeled hounds in our office to get in the saddle. We thought you should seriously take a test ride at your local H-D dealer or even put down an order before this limited-production ceases assembly.
MSRP reaching a touch over $25K is roughly $5K more than a stock Breakout and reels in more tech than adding $5K on your own. That’s typically the problem, “Can I tune better than the factory for the money?” This case looks like CVO does a fine job with their in-house tuning. CVO totally tricks out the bike as a whole from the power, handling and controls to styling. It continues on this year as the halo Harley cruiser, for good reasons, too. It features high-performance suspension all-around, racing cockpit, dark outlaw aesthetics and a Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110B twisting power through an Aggressor wheel mount out to a 240mm wide rear tire. Looks like a NFL player on the Oakland Raiders, ready for the game!
The Breakout CVO’s racing cockpit is one of the most enticing. Holding on to its broad drag-style bars whilst nestled in that bucket seat seems like you’ll have maximum controllability of all 110 cubic inches of Milwaukee muscle. If you study the standard Breakout pictures and tech to the Pro Street Breakout CVO you’ll begin to see the direction H-Ds CVO unit took. Adding gnarly bespoke appointments and paint has this bike looking like rolling jewelry. Now with the power; it speaks for itself on the open road.
