SEMA 2013: Would You Trust This Front Wheel?
From previous posts about crazy show bikes, I know that the HDForums crowd tends to gravitate toward bikes that are, you know, actually rideable. And to answer my own question? There’s no way in hell I’d trust this front wheel. I’ve been a fairly serious cyclist for the last five years, and while I’ve heard all the arguments about why it’s perfectly safe for me to rock a carbon fiber fork, I’m not going to put all my weight on over something that fails catastrophically. And that goes double on a motorcycle.
