As of a few days ago, according to the Southern California Timing Association and the American Motorcycle Association, the groups that are responsible for the Bonneville Speed Week, due to heavy summer rains, the events have been cancelled for the year.

We’ve all been there, you park your motorcycle for a little bit, leave and then come back and for some reason the bike is now on its side on the ground. There’s no note, no apology, just a car sized dent in your tank and a bunch of scratches.

A few weeks ago, Harley-Davidson announced that the company just couldn’t figure out the financials for bringing to market the absolutely brilliant Harley LiveWire concept bike.

After years and years of making fun of riders, and of motorcycles, and generally taking the piss out of anyone that owns up to riding bikes on the show, the Goliath TV show that is the BBC’s TopGear will no longer be the bastion of hatred to us two wheel riders.

This guy was riding like a total jackass, and the wreck is obviously his fault. But I’m lucky enough to have a job which involves watching car and bike videos all the time. This one? This one made me gasp. Fortunately—and crazily—the rider walked away from this serious spill. Hopefully the innocent Honda driver isn’t too scarred.
