2021 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob

Harley-Davidson almost always knocks the colors of the new bikes out of the park, and for some, buying a new one is like buying a brand new custom bike.

Naturally, 2021 is already starting to look a bit better than 2020. This video from OMG MOTO on YouTube shows new 2021 Harley-Davidsons being unloaded at Moonshine Harley-Davidson in Franklin, Tennessee.

Like us, the folks in the video are excited to see the brand new colors for the new bikes up close. Harley-Davidson almost always knocks the colors of the new bikes out of the park. For some, buying a new Harley-Davidson is like buying a brand new custom bike. The paint is a big part of that experience.

2021 Harley-Davidson Sport Glide

However, most of the bikes seen in this video are various shades of black – gloss, metallic, and matte. The new tank graphics are always exciting to see, though, and the 2021 Sport Glide’s new tank graphics look righteous. We’re also happy that the Sport Glide’s saddlebags are now painted.

Up Close and Personal

The Sport Glide is an ideal “happy medium” for folks who want to mix touring and cruising. It has some of the comfort and cargo capacity of a purpose-built touring bike, but with a lighter weight that’s better suited to corner carving and boulevard duty.

2021 Harley-Davidson Iron 1200 Sportster

The new Iron 1200 Sportster’s AMF-inspired gradient green tank graphics look awesome. According to the video, this color is called “Deadwood Green.” It’s a little hard to tell from the video, but it may be a very dark matte green instead of a matte black.

The graphics may be a throwback to the 1976 Bicentennial bikes. Those bikes had some excellent patriotic graphics, but sun exposure caused many of these graphics to take on a green tint over the years. We always thought it was a cool look, and we’re glad to see it make a comeback for 2021, 45 years later.

The video also shows off the awesome Fat Bob. The Fat Bob has a funky retro-futuristic look to it. It’s like something out of a ’90s comic book or sci-fi movie that takes place in the future. It’s such a cool looking bike, and it’s hard to believe that it’s not a one-off concept, but a real production piece.

We’d have a hard time choosing just one of these to take home. Which one would you pick?
