World’s Largest Ladies-Only Riding Event Hits SoCal, Oct 19-22
Fifth Annual Babes Ride Out to be held at Joshua Tree.
Sorry, dudes, this is one event where you are not allowed. Babes Ride Out 5 is the world’s largest ladies-only riding event and motorcycle campout and it’s happening October 19-22 in Joshua Tree, California, a few miles northeast of Palm Springs.
Babes Ride Out has rented the entire 40 acres of Joshua Tree Lake Campground for four days and three nights of women-only tent camping and motorcycle riding. All bike types are welcome and if you don’t have one, bikes can be rented for a discount at Cycle Visions in San Diego.
Entertainment for the weekend includes a live performance by the band Dorothy. Plus, Hot Rides SF is hosting a karaoke party and Biltwell Brodeo will have a mechanical bull-riding contest. Also, expect a dance party on Saturday night.
Your ticket price includes an event patch, free 805 Beer until it runs out, free Sailor Jerry with mixed drinks until it runs out, one raffle ticket to some insane prizes, Moto games, and tons of giveaways. Attendees will also receive Biltwell route maps for biking on some beautiful roads.
You’ll need to bring your own tent, but organizers reassure that there are bathrooms and toilet paper galore, tons of shaded areas, carpeted hangout zones, shower stations, plus multiple food and beverage vendors. You must be over 21 to attend. Tickets are non-refundable because the event is happening rain or shine.
Now, dudes, don’t feel too discouraged. You can join the ladies at the Babes Ride Out Official After Party on October 22 at Saguaro in Palm Springs. After four days with no men around, they may be in the mood for your ugly mug. Or, maybe not.
