I took my 2007 Ultra to Sound HD. in Smokey Point, Wa. for an oil change prior to my winter trip south. Shortly after the work was started the Tech Shane came to me and said" You have a bad compensator and we can install a SE unit under your extended warranty contract". I asked why they felt that was nessasary and was told "It sounds like crap when it's started". They changed it and all starting issues I had compained about to my selling dealer (Now closed) many times disappeared.
Then after the road test the tech Shane said "You have warped front rotors and we have replacements in stock and can replace them right away under the warranty.I agreed to this repair also.
I fully recommend the Sound Harley Dealership to all Harley riders. When was the last time you can remember getting this type of care from a dealer you did not buy your bike from?. See Mark the Service Manager and Matt the Service Advisor. You will be glad you did.

Tripp's Harley Davidson, Amarillo Tx. Fantastic dealer. Very curtious and knowledgable parts men and a great woman service writer. She got me right in as a transient for a tire change and gave me a military discount. They even offered us lunch while the tech changed the rear tire. I was out of there and safely on the road again in "no time". A great big "at a boy" to this super dealer. Thanks, Dan
Got a flat in my rear tire last week, luckily I was right down the street from Pensacola HD and was able to get the bike there before it went totally flat. Originally I was told it would be the next day before I could pick it up because they were down a mechanic. However to my surprise, they were able to squeeze me in and got my tire changed within a couple of hours. I didnt have an extended warranty or tire/wheel warranty so I had to pay out of pocket, but thought the $130 was a fair price. That was my first "service" experience with Pensacola HD and was satisfied with it. Hope any future instances go the same way.

Considering the cost of tires nowadays and the predicament you were in, I think you came out alright. Hats off the Pensacola HD for getting you back on the road so fast.
I usually hate the HD dealerships. Not so much this one.
It started this way: I saw a used Heritage I wanted in their dealership on CL. This dealership was a 1.5 hours away. My family was off today for the holiday, so they all wanted to go with me to trade in my metric bike. That meant putting it on a trailer. So we did that and trucked my bike to the dealership. I got there and saw the bike I was looking for. I also saw a used Deluxe that caught my eye. We started paper work on the Heritage, and in the middle I changed my mind to the Deluxe. We haggled on the price and my trade, then all was good. During this time I had mentioned that my daughter was planning to ride the Deluxe back with me. But the Deluxe was traded in w/o pegs or a backseat. After buying the bike, I talked to the parts guy about pegs and a seat. He didn't have either in stock. Oh well, no big deal. I told my kid she would go home the way she came. As they were prepping the bike, the salesman asked if I still wanted to give my kid a ride home. I said sure. He said come back in 20-30 minutes. When we got back, they had installed a back seat, rack, and pegs they said they had lying around the shop. We were so surprised and my kid was grinning ear to ear. The ride home was great. So when in Phoenix area, try Buddy Stubbs in Anthem. Sorry for the crappy garage pics...

I can certainly see why it caught your eye. Fine looking machine.
The general staff at Kitchener Harley are great, and the parts guys are awesome, Pierre seems to be able to locate parts for my old 76 FLH1200 Liberty when others can't. The attitude of the entire staff makes you want to go back. Sales staff are not pushy, clothing staff excellent to deal with, and managers that are very approachable and appreciate you as a customer. Service staff is very knowledgeable and honest, they will not nickle and dime you, they do what is needed if it is in for a repair and work is always top notch.
Personal experience I went in for an oil change and filter (its once a year in store treat, the rest I do ... lol) and when I went back to get the scoot they had found a couple of small items in need of attention, fixed them noted them on the bill and they were done at no charge .... 5*****
