So what happens if you already have a tune on a 14, do you still get the 15 flash, re-tune, ?

Here is a lnk to the thread I started that included info about the ECM update. Some people said there dealers better not do the update on there bike and wipe out the tune from when they paid to dyno tune there bikes. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...k-service.html

Edit. That thread is from when I first mentioned the update. Cant locate the thread that was only about the update.

2nd edit: Here is the link about the ECM update and all the comments: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...re-update.html

Your not the only one. If you read the thread in the 2nd edit. As of November some dealers were saying there was no update or the ECM can't be updated. Even some of the dealers were/are confused. Someone mentioned if you have a custom tune you could save it get the update then reload your custom tune. All I can tell you for sure is they updated my ECM that still had the stock tune.

I believe the instrument gauge change is that the ABS warning icon has changed on the 15's. And of course the price went up a bit and some color changes.

There is no reason you couldn't save your tune, flash the ECM, then reload the tune. The bitch would be, if you flash your ECM before you save the tune. At that point it would be lost.

The tune can be saved on a device like a Powervision, or on the dealer's hard drive using your SERT.

I found no difference except the 14 was less expensive. What ever the extra depreciation might be on the 14 makes no difference to me since I will put lots of miles on it anyway and keep it many years --

Think the low will be very popular. Was just at a dealer where they had a standard Limited parked right next to a Low.

Felt like the low was 100 lbs lighter when straightening it up off the stand. Much stronger stance by getting feet not only flat on the ground, but also with some bend in the knees.

With the upgraded and lowered suspension on the Low, I believe it will not only be much more nimble around town, but still about as comfortable on the road.
