Hi , Thank you Casper for asking this question .
Blue Tick , my wife and I moved to Texas 3 yrs ago , we currently live in Rockwall , we are constantly trying to find a nice place to ride .
Could you please help me understand what or where the 3 sisters is , there is reference to the sisters rivers up by Lake Lavon .
Thank you for posting the map . In our area the roads are real rough.
We have not ventured more than a few hundred miles at a time before I get beat to death or get tired of looking at flat land .

The Three Sisters is in the best part of the Central Texas Hill Country. It starts in Medina on FM-337 and heads west to Leakey and eventually Camp Wood. From Camp Wood, go north on TX-55 for about 5 miles to pick up FM-335. FM-335 goes north to TX-41. Take TX-41 east to FM-336, then south on FM-336 back to Leakey. Leakey is more or less the hub for the Three Sisters.
The above is a google map. Substitute t.i.n.y.u.r.l in place of the asterisks.
If staying overnight, of all the places I have stayed, River Bluff Cabins is the best so far. Super clean 2/2 cabins with central heat/air, wifi, and right on the Frio River. They will even pick up groceries for you and have them in your cabin or refrigerator waiting for you. That is an amazing service when traveling on a motorcycle! Stay in one of the cabins numbered 8-16 for the new ones.

you can google the three sisters. they are Ranch Roads 335, 336, &337. Two of the three intersect in Leakey, Tx., my home town. Leakey is an amazing family vacation spot with probably hundreds of cabins and resorts all over the area.
I live in Grand Prairie, but ride with a group from the plano / wylie area if you ever want to get together.

Couple of guys already posted and gave you tons of info on the Sisters. It's a great ride. I will caution you, if you've never done it before, pay attention to the warning signs. If you get down south way give me a shout. We ride just about every weekend to somewhere. You need to put the Lone Star Rally on your radar as well.
Dairy Queen is open. Marfa, Christmas Eve, hungry as hell.....
Good to know! I tried finding something like that on Google Maps app, but didn't see it. Everyone was like a turtle at that time, so no help asking anyone, lol.

alot of truth to this and should always be mentioned. The Sisters are not for the beginner. They are challenging roads by themselves, but add oncoming bikes and farm trucks, animals, falling gravel and things like that increase the danger.
I have a safety speech I give every group i ride down with before we ever get on one of them.
Most days, a "local" parks on the side of one of them with a flatbed trailer to make money scooping up bike after bike.

Interesting. Of the very many times out there, I have never seen it. Perhaps I just didn't notice. I did notice the guy taking photos on 337 that you can buy. https://www.txmotofoto.com/
