I have a GTS Boombox on 2004 TriGlide. The GTS has been flawless for the last several months, until two weeks ago. When I turn on the Navigation in my garage, it shows Im (bike) several miles from my true location. When I direct the gps to go home it routes me to my home, so my home address is correct. Today the gps shows Im off the coast in the middle of the ocean. No work has been to the bike for months so Im perplexed as what can be the issue.
Any help will be appreciated ..
Sometimes the unit needs to see the satellites to know where you are located, I think a minimum of 3. They usually see around 5 if memory serves me correctly.
There is a place on the GTS Boom to see the satellites it is acquiring, you may want to see if it is acquiring them.
If you take your bike out of the garage on the driveway does it show the correct/near correct location?
Any electrical interference (new electronics) in your house or changes to modems, wifi ect.?

Reason: removed a bunch of "I think" and corrected spelling
Do you have a GTS or a 6.5GT (your bike is a 2004). Don't think the GTS will go in there.
In any event, take your bike out of the garage into say a school parking lot. Drive in circles for a short time. Let the satellites readjust/realign themselves.

I think the 2004 is a typo........ His signature block says he has a 2014 Trike, so probably the 6.5 GT.........
But yes, take it outside and see what it does. I had an issue with my 2014 SGS once where the last tech in the fairing curled up some power wires on top of my GPS antenna and it messed with my location accuracy till I found them and re arraigned them to somewhere else.

I had the exact problem with my GTS NAV this past year. The issue was that the hidden fairing mounted FM antenna had come loose in the fairing and was floating above the GPS antenna.
I would check the inside of your fairing to ensure it has nothing floating over the top of it. As soon as I moved and zip tied my fm antenna, my gps worked normally again.
Thanks, I updated my trike to the GTS.
I have tried almost everything mentioned during the responses.
‘I do have a service appointment next week and I’ll follow-up.

So, you took the bike outside, checked the antenna location in the fairing and you checked for the number of satellites the unit is seeing?
Thanks for all the help, I got my hands dirty and opened things up where I discovered the gps plug was not totally seated. Even though the plug locks in place, I was able to push it and it clicked. I believe it was that way since the conversion was completed to the GTS Navigation and over time simply vibrated loose.
Thanks again……
