8 times out of 10 it comes on, now tonight after riding all day and then letting it cool down for about 2 hours, i gave it a major detail.
When i shut it down, volume to zero, radio off and then kill switch, and then ignition off.
After detailing it, i start it and drive it into the garage, ignition on, wait a minute, because it was dark and i was making sure i had the kill switch to on, start bike, just the HD logo and clock come up, the radio never came on. Love it, but 8 times out of 10 the accept logo and radio comes on with the same procedure.
Too bad, it should only come on when you press the radio power button, but that is not the way it is.
Push the right side control button to accept after you crank the engine, don't even need to touch the screen. After owning the bike a couple weeks, it's just a habit to do as part of starting the bike.
This complaint comes up often. I just do not see the issue. I just think of it as a step, like turning the ignition switch on, then pressing the start button, then the accept button. Its not going to change so it needs to be accepted as a step

Agree. It will eventually just become automatic. Kind of like putting your seat belt on in a car...if you use a seat belt.
While I agree with everyone else that it's not that big of a deal, they could put a time-out on it. On the GPS in my truck, after about 10 seconds or so of me not hitting accept, it will go away on it's own. So by the time you're turning off your street or make it just out of earshot of your house, it's already gone. But again, it's really not a big deal to click the button
