Did this to mine 2 weeks ago when I installed the color matched inner. Couple of comments:
- The fairing insert 61400122 is obsolete. Have your parts guy use 61400122A. That's the current part. I have no idea what changed. It looks the same.
- The brackets and screws listed above aren't absolutely necessary. On the 2014 CVO they aren't used. The factory plastic part and chrome part on the CVO is held in with double-sided adhesive tape. I simply reused the adhesive tape that was holding in the plastic part.
