i own a 14 Limited Daytona blue and cant really decide on the lower forks and cow bells . The bike has black accents so i was going to do black powder coat lower legs with the cowbells the black ones that have the cut outs in them made from one piece aluminum.
Then i saw a limited with all Chrome next idea was to powder coat lowers and paint the cowbells the color of the bike and the lower fairing under the head lamp same color .

I really cant decide

I really like the chrome on the Daytona Blue myself. The black would look good too. I guess it depends on what wheels you are using too. I liked the air wing trim on my front fender with the stock wheels, but when I put on the HD Slicer Wheels, I took it back off, think it looks better without it now. I want to do chrome front end now, and may do it over the winter months. I want to do handlebars before the front end though.

Good Luck, I'm sure it will look good, whatever you chose.

With a bike that isn't already black, either do chrome or color matching paint to the bike. Black on a Harley is sooooooo over rated. I can't help but laugh when I hear some dude say "I wanna do something different to mine so I'm gonna black it out".

I had a 13 Limited (Big Blue Pearl) that I had put chrome lowers and chrome cow bells on and it looked very nice. But I tend to not like a black bike though.

To me, certain colors look better with chrome, and others look better with black....

My opinion is blue, black and red go well with chrome... orange, silver and white go well with black.

I decided to do some of both.

Personal preference is what best suits you. My 05 ultra had massive amount of chrome on it including the forks and it was red and black. My amber whiskey/black is all most done with all the powder coating and I went with black and think it looks great. For what its worth I had a lot of comments about the 05 being an "old mans bike" but that has not been said about the 14. That being said the 14 will be getting new black fork and bells in a few weeks.
