Default 700 mile trip report

Went on a 700 mile trip with the Glide, ..here is my feedback. Right wrist hurts because the stock bars sucks! Knees are killing me, floor boards are to high. On a good note, had to 115mph! Cruised it between 90-100 the whole way, flawlessly. When I pulled over to get gas , there was a couple times like the shifter felt like it was just hanging loose, that was weird!
The baffles on the stock mufflers got a good heat cyle, it's A LOT louder now!

Nice! I feel you on the bars. My wrists are really the only place I start feeling discomfort. I'm 5'9 and the floorboards are perfect for me. I'm gonna get my seat lowered a little and see if that helps the wrist issue.

Helofadeal man, check your shifter at all connections (with wrench) and fork leg clamps, and tires and everything else. Have fun and stay safe

Stock bars would pinch up my back, between the shoulder blades. Changed out to 14" apes, and much better. Until you change out the bars, maybe use the cruise more, including increase/decrease speed?

Stock seat was another uncomfortable item, that I replaced with great results. Sounds like that was ok for you?

I agree it would feel a little better with lower floorboards. My issue there is they already get lots of grinding, in the twisties, at stock height. I ride much of the time with ***** of feet, on the most rear of the floorboards. I also use rear pegs, often standing on them, during long trips. Not an option when carrying a passenger, of course. I don't like highway pegs, but maybe that's an option for you.
