I read thru this review and it does make some good comparisons but for me, driving on a daily basis I choose the Reflector hands down over the Projector. If all I ever did was drive in town with other light sources and straighter roads the Projector would be fine. I live in the country and most of the time the lights from my bike are my only source of light on roads with lots of hills, curves and potential deer, possum, raccoon, skunk or road kill around every turn. I couldn't get the Projector out of my bike quick enough.
Couldn't agree more. I ordered the reflector the other day and should be here Thursday. I look forward to trying it out.
Thanks.... BTW, I grew up in Plano. Graduated from PESH many years ago!!
So you were here back when Los Rios was just a dirt road? My house is just a few blocks up from PESH, headed back toward 14th.
Be sure to let us (me) know how the reflector works out. I've been contemplating the same thing. From all I've read though, since 90% of my riding is on city streets, the reflector is the one I'll go with.

Ha, I used to fly model airplanes out there and that's where I learned to drive. Lots of streets made but no houses. I grew up on Blossom Trail (Shilo between Park and 544) and then parents moved to Carrizo Dr in Los Rios. I lived there from 73 until 91 when I left for the AF.
The reflector should be in Thursday and I hope to install and then go for a brisk evening ride to see how it does. I'll let everyone know.
You must be having too much fun with that new light.
I wish. I ordered it the week before last and went to install. Then figured out that the light needs an adapter. Then, had to order that. I installed a couple days ago but it's been just a bit too chilly at night to ride out in the sticks.
I also got to thinking I am going to use my GoPro and make a before and after video.
How's that new headlight working out for you? What adapter did you have to get?
It's better than the projector for my overall riding. It isn't as bright as far out as the projector was. Still lacks in the turns, but much better than the other. You need harley # 69200897 for the swap.
When it warms up a little, I plan to do a side by side of projector versus reflector video. I have the perfect spot that will allow me to swap the lights and align them and make a couple runs.
