If you go into a good auto spray shop they can match the paint exactly and spray the inner fairing. I took mine off and had it done for less than $200. There are three pieces to paint, the inner fairing, lower switch panel and the USB door cover. It is not hard to remove the inner fairing. If you need anymore info just let me know. To get the paint matched before they sprayed it for me, I took one of the side panels in and they matched the paint from that. Another thing you can do is buy a second hand inner fairing from someone who has changed theirs, maybe Ebay, have that sprayed and then swap them over. That way your bike won't be off the road.

That looks awesome!!!, How long did it take you to remove the inner fairing?

I think it took me about three/four hours to get the original off and replace it with the one I had had painted. That said, it only took that long because I had never done one before and had to work out how it came off. Once I had it figured out it was quite easy and if I were to do it again, I reckon I could swap one over in under two hours. It is only really a trim panel and not a substantive part of the frame or bodywork.
