Currently own a 13 Heritage. I've test road two 2014 Ultras. I will be buying a new 15 Ultra in the spring for a dream trip down the pacific cost. I agree that the Ulta is now a great handling bike, but the Softail is a much smoother engine. Yes, once at speed the Ultra is fine, however I still favor the smoothness of my Softail.
I will be keeping the softail along with the Ultra. Best of both worlds.

Glad to see an upbeat thread, thanks. Last bike was a Road King, miss it, but always wanted a Street Glide and got one this year. Could not be happier!

Sure it can. Just put whatever you want to cook on the heated hand grips and turn them anywhere past the #3 setting.

This past June I purchased my very first HD a FLSTC I have logged 9500 miles on it since then, with not one complaint, ride, handling, mileage smoothness of ride. I am now looking at possibly picking up a Ultra Classic in the spring and it is good to hear of the great experiences.

My wife has fallen asleep on the back of my 14 Limited multiple times on all day rides. I can tell when she does because her head goes forward and her helmet start vibrating against the back of my helmet.
