Trying to fit a holster in the horn mounting area. Using a Kydex molded holster, it's not completed yet plan to space it away from the engine a little more and put the cover back in front and relocat the horn. But I think it's going to work out nicely.

I'd make sure the gun is really secured in the holster. As much movement as there is on our motors, I'd be very wary do that. At the current angle, it think it would be very hard to draw with it facing straight back.

Also, I'd check your state laws, that could be considered "open carry of a firearm", and illegal.

What he said. I'd want a Level 3 retention holster for something like that if it was legal to do where I lived.

The heat would be more of an issue for the Kydex than the pistol. It doesn't take much heat to be able to shape and mold Kydex.

Purchase a little less gun, such as a keltec 380, hide it in the compartment next to your radio. that set up in the picture leaves me a bit nervous

Velcro a holster to the inside front wall of your saddlebag and carry what you want.
