Yea its different with the mirrors under the bars, thought id try it and liked them, they deflected cold air down. Solid visuals thou, never have to turn and look, very trust worthy visuals. Each is own for sure, im not try to sale you anything.
I did ride 300 miles today, the bars feel like a natural thing and good fit for me, not tired or road weary as i had been it the past, like they were suposto be there.
Just had the dealer put 10's on mine. Wondering how the eights would feel. Maybe I have to get used to them, feels like my arms are not long enough when turning. I have them back to me with about 1/2" gap between them and the tank when they are fully turned. Would like them back further though.

I would let you ride it to check them out if I could Lol. The bars are all the way to the faring now, I've road aporx 6-700 mile. They are a bit of a stretch compared to the stock bars, not uncomfortable but deferent. I set pretty much straight up, but at the same time can kinda pull or hang there. I like the bars but I know a lot of guys may not because of the limited pull back. It looks like they should pull back a max of maybe 2 inches, just have not tried yet. My main objective was to keep my hands behind the fairing and a more natural wrist angle, also I like the way they look. Have a Merry Christmas,

Definitely are nice! When it gets warmer I will log some miles and get used to them.Like you said I am sitting straight up also. Thanks and Merry Christmas too you.
So all that was needed with the 8" bars was extended wires? No problems with cables? Thanks
The wire kit is all that is needed. No brake or clutch lines need, you loosen the banjo brake line fittings and turn as needed, only loosen a little with no drips.
Note. the Yaffes are harder to route the wires internally because of the sharp bend, it took me about 8 hours.
Be careful with the TBW green connection, it's easily broken when your trying to stuff all the wires and the connector.
You don't have to remove the ignition switch.
The 8" yaffes actually measure 9.5" they take the measures differently from other manufactures.
Have fun you'll enjoy them.
We road a little over 200 miles today, the handling is more controlled like when turning around in the middle of the road and sharp turns. A better fit to my shoulders and upper body strength. This is a pick of the morrows under the bars, they have good visuals no issues and keep the air from deflecting off them on your hands. Next going to see how far they will pull back. I'm liking the bars so far.
Yes Yaffe 8" Monkey Bagger Bars. They measure differently than other manufactures. They feel great and love the look. But they are rusting underneath the sharp bend you can gauge by this old thread how low long they've been on the bike.. Maybe the black holds up better?
I installed the 8 yaffe bars on my 14 SGS, no wire extensions were needed for internal wiring . Brake and clutch also plenty long enough with rerouting. The 8 bars are actually closer to 10 according to many. There is a great video on YouTube for the installation of the yaffe bars. I installed 11 Carlini bars on my 17 SGS with no extensions needed and also ran heated grips internally. I actually like the 8 yaffe bars better than my Carlini bars. They were slightly lower and more comfortable to me.
