Edited my first post. Went to move the bike, inspected front mc cover again, completely dry, mc is full, absolutely no grabbing, no front brake
Rear pedal felt soft, pumped it and all was ok there. But the front seems to be mimicing the clutch master issue. Dealer is not open till tomorrow
I had a similar problem with my 2014 Trike, but not as extreme as the origional posting. Front brake handle went all the way to the handle bar with no resistance, especially true when bike was cold. After repeatedly pumping, the brake would work for a while. Dealer rebuilt the master cylinder but that failed as well. Finally, the dealler replaced the entire master cylinder and the problem was solved. It took the dealer a month to get a new master cylinder because they said it was on back order from the factory. Wonder how many other folks are having the same problem?
Sorry for the delay. Been busy at work then spent a few weeks in NY. Finally got the bike to the dealer. He bled the lines, has no idea whats wrong. Has some grip now but plans to check again Tuesday.
Had called HOG to tow the bike, they sent a flatbed and a moron with a chain hook. I told him he has to sign off that the bike has no scratches, he refused so he did not take it. They went to send another and they said he would not sign a release either.
I rode the bike there. HOG is useless.
Harley will not tow the bike for any warranty work. Only the clutch recall. Every new vehicle I buy comes with a minimum one year towing
Not a good sign. Neither is the fact that the lady at HOG told me she is constantly being called to tow SGS's. Thats not a good sign either.
