Anyone have these? I'm interested to know if they are much louder than stock? The prices are good, but I'm wondering if it's another case of "you get what you pay for".
I had heard that they were too loud without the "baffle". So, I got a pair. Not too loud for me (without the baffle). I'm still running with cat in stock head pipe. They are a fair amount louder than new stock pipes, but not like Reinys or V & H. Can still hear radio, and also bike exhaust.
I'm running a set on my '14 RK; just a set of Xieds, all else stock. Sound great w/o baffles and bike runs just fine.
I can attest to this. Bike sounds really good and it runs good too. (he let me ride it). Plus, if stopped by LEO in some of the more liberal towns across America, they look like stock mufflers (because they are).
They are MUCH louder than stock pipes, but not so obnoxious that dogs want to pee on it all the time.
