My height is 6 feet tall, I ride with a backrest and I've never had a bike with a stock windshield this low. Any ideas of a LRS shield height on a FLHTK?
Thanks in advance.
LRS sells shields of different heights for your bike. I am 6' tall as well and currently have an 8" shield, but just ordered a new one in 7". The stock shield is taller.
Here is the first try. James said it ended up etching out the areas between the chain but it wasnt supposed to so he has to re do it but I think it is going to come out just fine. Should ship out this weekend.
Yeah, once he gets that resolved, it's going to look awesome! Nice, and the price is unbeatable!
Thanks TexasRoper. I just ordered a 7" Ultra Elite for the summer. I'll let you guys know how it works.
Right now I using a Freedom Shield. Can't remember height. It's an inch or two higher than stock. I ordered it for winter time use. The stock windshield kept knocking my half helmet and sunglasses around. The FS eliminated that. I hope to get similar results from the LRS 7" for summertime use.

After watching video on how to measure windshield etc. and after talking to James I ordered an 9" ultra elite with light tint for my limited. Can't wait to see it & get it on the bike. BTW I'm 5'9".
