Default Windshield question

Can anyone tell me the height of the stock windshield on a 14 Ultra Classic?
I should have my seat back next week from Mean City Cycles and with it being lowered 2" I'm thinking I will need a lower windshield. Any ideas on what is best? The stock windshield was perfect for me with the stock seat but a lower seat will change that I think. Thanks

The stock shield is a 10".

I just bought a new 11" shield from LRS, which I haven't gotten to try out yet. Have heard nothing but good things about them and they were running a 60% off sale a couple weeks ago. Not sure if they still are though.

Cannot go wrong with LRS. I replaced the stocker on my '14 Limited with a 10" LRS clear. It's night and day better than the stock shield. I'm 5'11' with a 31" inseam and probably could have gone with a 9" with same results. I am running the stock seat. Wait until you have your new seat before you know what size shield you need. LRS has a great video on their site on how to properly measure. I've had LRS on all my bikes. I highly recommend them.

Default Freedom Shields ROCK!!!

I installed a 11" Freedom Shield on my 14 FLHTK Shrine Edition. Got a 10% forum discount, then shield ended up running me less than $100.00 The shield is extremely high quality and when they ship it to you, you leave the wrap on it, install it and ride to see if it is for you, if not just return it.

My 8" LRS functions as well as the stock 10".

My 10" LRS is awesome as well.

I thought I'd have the 10" back on for winter, but so far the 8" has been plenty.

+1 on the Freedom Shield.

I went with the 9" shield and also got the forum discount (coupon code HDFORUM). I'm 5'11" and the 9" deflects air better than the stock 10". Agree 100% about the quality and no-hassle return policy provided you leave the protective film on.

where are you located? I have to 8.5 Flare that I am going to be replacing as soon as my new shield gets here. It is a great shield I just want something a little taller.

I have a 10" Freedom shield. Wait to you get the seat back before you decide.
