I had a windsplitter, it was a little taller than the stock. I replaced it with a Cee Bailey 7". Love it. No buffeting at all at 70+mph.

Thanks everyone. I should have my seat next week so I will see how it works with the stock windshield and go from there. I have some $ from JP Cycle so I have been checking there.

I have the 9" Freedom Shield. Can't beat it and it's thicker than other options also.

I ordered a 7" shield from LRS today. With the discount I thought if it is to short I can just use it for summer.

finally warmed up and roads cleared off so I went for a ride with my new 11" Ultra Shield from LRS. a huge improvement over the stock shield and looks great. Can't go wrong with them.

+1 for Cee Bailey 7". At 5'9", combined with Mustang Low Profile seat, lowering seat height 1", the CB 7" puts wind over top of my helmet and produces no buffeting at 75-80.

Just cut it down if it is too tall. I have cut many windshields down for friends. I cut and make all my own windshields too. I needed 2" added to my 15 LTD so I made one for $24 and a little time. You can tape it up and use a jigsaw if you don't have a bandsaw. Then use a single edge razor blade to scrap the edge to smooth it up. If you make one, be sure to use polycarbonate. Not Plexiglas.

Default What is the most popular solution?

Not sure if this is a redundant post since there's going to be some aspect of personal preference but I'm trying to work out which is the best and most popular choice between:

Stock H-D
Klock Werks
Freedom
LRS

I’m riding a 2014 Ultra Limited bought with a stupid little screen (I guess about 3”) which looks cool but is totally ineffective.

I get a lot of buffeting even on calm days and my wife has to hold her head against my back so her brains don’t get completely jellied.

After reading a lot of posts I’m not completely convinced this isn't just about the screen and have considered adding fangs but the screen is a good place to start.

Any comments or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Yes you need a taller windshield. Even a stock 10 inch will be a big improvement. Im using a 10" LRS and it works well

I am very happy with both my LRS and Memphis Shades shields although Memphis Shades is not on your list I wouldn't rule them out.
