Default Windshield Height

Question, how many of you have a 15" stock windshield on your Ultra's. I have a 12" stock on the bike now just barely seeing over the top. Tried a 9", but to much wind buffering. Now thinking of getting a stock 15 and see how that goes. Then I would be look through the windshield instead of over it.

Would like your throughs on this...thanks for your input

I have a 9" on my SG but I have a modified seat too. The 9 hits me right between the chin and the lips of my mouth. I like to be able to see over the shield just a little bit and be able to duck under if needed. I don't like looking through the shield.

I have the stock height windshield - 13" I think? I look through it and being a new Electra Glide rider, it's very strange coming from a Wide Glide with a short detachable. I would like to get a shorter one that I don't look through, but that sends air over my head. Not sure that's possible really. Right now, depending on the road, sometimes the top of the shield is in my line of vision. On one hand it IS nice to not have to wear goggles at night or early in the morning, but I always feel like my vision is distorted in some way and that I don't have a clear picture of the road.
