I want to ask the forum a question of getting any kind of build from stock that should you maybe take it real easy so to speak for a while before you start riding it hard?
If in fact you should what are safe miles one should travel over before it is safe to start riding strong on the bike? I have heard some say you can ride right away any kind of way you want but then hear some say you should baby the motor first so what is true and what is not or are both suggestions true and if so under which kind of big build does one fit more of then the other.

Although my build is far from "big", this is the exact procedure I
used. After seating the rings I rode the next couple hundred miles
varying the rpm range. Not staying at any given rpm for an extended
length if time.
