I plugged the thumb drive into the radio port to update to 1.18.3 and it says its reading the USB but I don't get prompted to do anything and its not updating. Please help!
Make sure that the swdl_boombox_6.5GT.iso file is in the root directory of the thumb drive and that you have nothing else there. Also, make sure your thumb drive is formatted as FAT32.
I have no idea what a root directory or fat32 is. I'm deleting and retranfering to the thumb drive right now.
If you're using Windows, chances are that it will be formatted in FAT32. Just make sure that when you look at the file contents of USB drive on your computer, that the .iso file is in the highest (root) directory. If you still have troubles, I'll work to send you a picture of what the files should look like.
When plugged into our computer the USB drive will have a drive letter associated with it. In Windows Explorer, doubble click that drive letter to open up the USB drive.
The only file on the USB drive should be named "swdl_boombox_6.5GT.iso". If the file is named "swdl_boombox_6.5GT.1.18.3.zip" then you have not un-zipped the file that you downloaded. Double click on the .zip file to open it, copy the .iso file back to the USB drive and then delete the .zip file.
