Yea bro wired it the way you said and no go. Everything is posi tapped to the out going side of the strobe unit. Orange wires to blue o. The strobe unit black wire to black and both red wires to the red wire on the strobe unit. Both switches in the on position. Still no go wonder if I have a bum unit ?
Any ideas
Call CD Tech support tomorrow.Something is missing with your install.
Gonna have to call like you said. I am fresh out of ideas. What is weird is the tri bar strobes so the plasma rods should strobe as well. I'll keep you posted.
Called them up today they want me to tap the red wire on the plasma rods to the out going side of the tri bar red wire I will give that a shot this week and see what happens
This may be a late question to the party, but: are these things even legal? It seems like it's a good, common-sense idea to increase rear visibility, but we all know how government entities discourage the use of common sense when making laws...so, anyone know anything about legality of this product?

Former cop from Florida, here it is legal and I have had strobes on my bike for years with no issues. Heck Harley sells a brake light that flashes.
The motor cops here have Flasher's for brake.
The rule has been or was, as long as the flashing is to the rear it is Ok and there has to be a break to the flashing. So flash three times, solid, then flash three times, or something like that.
Also in Florida you can have as many red lights as yoy want as long as they face rearward.
I'm gonna wait until Sturgis and check them out again at the CD trailer. If by then, they don't have any posi-taps and no one has posted on here that their lights are going haywire, I will probably buy another one. I want to know for sure that the bugs are worked out.
