So that means you have the run brake kit right? If so let me know how and where you hooked up everything and I will do the same ?
Yes I had the run/brake kit running on my plazma rods for the last year. First follow the direction sheet with that kit then follow the directions I copied from post 75. Here is the key point on post 75 again.
"and the red wires from the plasma rods had to be posi-tapped to the red wire on the outgoing side of the strobe unit."
Before I install this on my limited, I'm going to coat the diodes and posi-taps with liquid tape to seal them from the outside elements. CD online says this works with limited's, classics as well and called them to make sure. Right now I have their flasher that just works the brake light. I moved everything over to left side cover so my hammock seat would sit flush.
Today 5/15 I called Custom Dynamics about the Magic Strobes, I spoke with Morgan and she explain to me that it was complete plug and play, for the 14/15 models.
I asked if I would have to use any posi taps she had said NO that it was complete plug and play.
I was going to call back and talk with someone else but they were already closed.
Can anyone here confirm this is true? it would be nice if they redesigned it.
Thanks in advance.

update: installed flasher unit and all rear lights operate as they should and flash as they should. I'm happy with unit even it thought came with diode fix on outside. I bought it through my local dealer and saved 15%

I would doubt they have it re-worked and re-manufactured yet. But I'm sure any remaining units will come with the diode already installed via posi-taps. So that would make it a complete plug and play kit again....
I think you would have to specifically ask whether the diode is installed externally with posi-taps on the units they are sending out.

One reason it's taking a while is because they are made in China. I'm sure they had a good amount made and in transit that they had to burn through before the next batch came in. I recently saw they were selling new ones with the posi-taps already installed at their trailer. They are plug and play unless you find an early one that hasn't been updated by the retailer.
Yea bro wired it the way you said and no go. Everything is posi tapped to the out going side of the strobe unit. Orange wires to blue o. The strobe unit black wire to black and both red wires to the red wire on the strobe unit. Both switches in the on position. Still no go wonder if I have a bum unit ?
Any ideas
