got my kit in and install was simple.. I also put some liquid electric tape on the posi-tap to make sure moisture gets in the wires. Always use the liquid tape and have not fail me. Better safe them sorry I say..
Customer service still seems to be acceptable. No much fuss on me wanting a return, and they sent me a pre-paid shipping label to cover the costs when I requested one. They seem to be handling the situation as best as they can and try to keep the customer happy. I will keep an eye out for an improved version down the road and probably buy again.

Well I'm glad you were happy with the service. I called them and explained my concerns with paying full price to test the unit for them and to mod it myself after paying full price. I told them I had always had good results with their products but was very disappointed with this outing. I said that I understand things can be overlooked and would have been happy to test the unit at 50% of cost but not at full price. Since I'm in the market for a tri-bar light I suggested they sell me the tri-bar light at 30% off with free shipping and we would call it good. I accept the not ready for prime time Stobes unit and continue to test it for them and they sell me the tri bar light at a discount seemed fair. Well they replied with were sorry but the unit will function just fine now and we will sell you the tribar at a 5% discount and free shipping...lol.. That's a joke and I was offended!
just installed kit. kinda janky to me!
anyone notice that when turn signal is on and u hit brakes, that only tri bar flashes (to what ever # u have it set too)and not other signal??? i have CD's all around on a 15 RGS. didnt notice this before but may of missed it

Mine did that before and after the mod, thinking if your signal is on and you hit the brake you don't want the other to flash....otherwise some idiot would not know your turning.
Everything on mine works like it should, before and after the diode. I just decided to put it on because I was told it would be best.
makes sense. now that you say that!!!!!
1 other thing I noticed, if you have rear speakers, did anyone notice a buzzing or popping when hazards r on and bike is off! that was not there before, and i hope i dont need them on either, some day.

I installed the "engineering kit" (what a joke) and now, when I turn my ignition off with the flashers on, the flashers sound very clunky like a 1960s car. is anyone else getting this?

Same thing on mine.
I wrote CD & asked this question last week & here is the response from Karen.
"As for the noise you are hearing that is normal for the turn signal relay to make that clicking sound. More than likely if you were to remove the Magic Strobes that sound would still be there."
