I just went out and tried and all connected like it should but I lost all my values from last night. I called V&H back again, He said I must had erased them some how because I didn't do it right. So looks like this is on me. I have the rest of the day off so I'm going out to do it again. But he did say to be sure I turn off the motor, then just turn the ignition back on then add the values. He said do 3, 40-50 Miles sessions. In the same way I did last night, then push finish and it will go in to my ECM. He said my bike will run a lot better then it is now. So a little lunch and off I go. I sure hope next time I'm on this Thread I will be happy.

Cheer up, you had a problem, learned a bit more about your tuner and phone and you get to go for another ride.

Don't worry, I am just ribbing you a bit. As far as the advice to turn off the Wi-Fi, that is good advice. Same thing happened on mine and I turned off Wi-Fi, VIOLA! Worked like a charm. Be sure to turn Wi-Fi back on before surfing ****, don't want to burn up all your data.

Yes and I'm more pissed then last night. My Wi-Fi is off, My Wife looked it up to be sure. I go out today to do the first of 3 runs. After the first 40 miles I stop, turn off the motor, bring up the values on my phone then turned my ignition on and hit apply values and it worked, finally and I was happy. After I got it reconnected I went on my second run, repeated all the steps and again just like the first time "error" try again, after 3 try's I lost all the values and it went all white. I was very close to home and for some reason my bike for the first time is running bad. I'm going on a all day ride first thing in the morning and now my bike isn't running good. I need help, fast. V&H is closed. If I could just set it back to the first map V&H had me install my bike will run good. I cant find any way to get to it, can some one help me please?

Just an ideal, Im guessing if you were to turn on your bike now and reconnect to the FP3 it probably will go thru the set - up phase then say that's its in tune mode, and not allow you to down load a previous map.

I personally would disconnect the FP3 and reconnect it, do not start the bike but put the bike in accessory mode pair your phone back up and then go to flash the bike/map look up, go thru the 1 of 6 slots until you find the canned map or select the same map ( from map look up ) that V&H recommended in the first place and then flash that.

I hope this helps.

Off V&H website

How do I return my bike to its original calibration?

Answer: if you should ever want or need to go back to the original calibration you had before installing FP3, do the following: from the main menu, press “view/edit maps” and press slot zero (reads "stock setting – read only”). A message will pop up asking if you want to flash this map to your bike – press continue and follow the instructions.

My son the computer tech came to the rescue tonight. We had to finish the auto-tune session to get the device out of auto-tune mode. This allowed us to flash the bike with the map that we used prior to the auto-tune session. We chose not the use the map that was generated by the auto-tune for fear of bad data. We plan to attempt the auto-tune process again later this week.

Any time I run an auto tune session, I first APPLY the learned cells, wether it's 42 or 67 or whatever. After I APPLY those values, I ride some more. After some miles ( no set amount for me 40or50), I APPLY the learned cells again. Which involves waiting for the app to do its thing, turning off the bike for 30 seconds as instructed and then turning the bike back on, as instructed. At that time the app says " Bike Programmed" and there is a done button , which I click. At this time I go back in to that auto tune and FINISH? Which sends the app back through the motions of turning the bike off and then back on. Bike runs great, G
