I would say this is most accurate and good numbers, with a good dyno operator/tuner and 5th gear runs. With this base number and adding cams could put it right at 100hp.

So, here's my question. What would you do? roadglide33 calls the numbers "fishy" and seeing comparative numbers I'm now not sure my numbers are accurate. But these are the facts I know. I took the bike in for service, I asked to have it Dyno'd ($ 330) They gave me the Dyno print out and the bike runs better than ever. To be honest, if the print out said I was getting 87hp and was running like it is I'd be happy. I don't need or want any more power, it's as much as I can handle. I think I'll let it go and be happy, however we all want to see the results of the Dyno once its done.

Cape, do nothing. Ride the snot out of it with a smile on your face. Like I said in the first post, The number is just a number and if you're happy, ride on. Nobody is calling you out personally, I'm certain your didn't photoshop your dyno sheet to look cool to a bunch of rubes that you'll never meet. You got what you got from the printout so be sure to know it's nothing personal. I think the general consensus is we all want each other to have a clear picture of who's doing what and we are getting the most out of our rides. There would be equal uproar if you had a dyno that said 67 hp and 81 tq. We'd all be saying you need to find a new tuner! The only downside of someone seeing your stage 1 components, buying the same setup and then expecting the same results. Unlikely.

Especially if you're not doing anything else to the engine, do nothing. You're happy with the ride and the number on your sheet is wholly irrelevant. If you ever get it dyno'd somewhere else down the road and the numbers come back different, you'll be prepared for it!

Thanks cp, agreed. That leads me to another question you may help me answer. After having it dyno'd, if I don't change anything, is there some point it will need to be dyno'd again? Kind of like a tune-up?

If it starts running differently, have it done. When I had my engine built they did the initial tune and they asked me to come back after 3000 miles to retune it when all the rings had seated and everything was broken back in.

If you're happy with it, a stage one shouldn't have to be done again for any reason. Call it good and ride on

Looking at Fuel Moto's dyno charts a 103 with full exhaust an tune looks to make right at 90 HP an 106 TQ. The twin cooled bikes have slightly higher compression so they might do better but I don't think the numbers you're showing are possible with the stock cams. Your numbers look better than a bike with TW 222 cams with the same exhaust. If you're happy with it don't worry about it an ride it.

Could be a little high and that's what folks said about mine. But numbers are just a snapshot and if you like the way it runs that's all that counts. Attached is my pull and it was done in 6th gear.

Default Dyno numbers

Those numbers are questionable IMHO, I just got my bike back yesterday. had new Andrews 57 cams, Screamin' Eagle oil pump & adjustable push rods, heavy duty clutch plate & Thunder Max tuner. Mine dynoed at 96 & 111. I also have the Fuel Moto head pipe & exhaust.
