Ok. Installed the new lamp & harness yesterday & took a ride. I didn't make any adjustments, just re-mounted it in situ. On the way home, the width of the beam at low seemed to be better, & the width of the high-beam was noticeably wider. The BIG test was twisty road I live on. The 90 degree bend was SCARY with the OEM lamp. MUCH better. Probably added 35 - 40 feet to my vision thru the turn. The factory spec is 35" high at 16', according to the service writer at the local dealer. I will set it there & re-ride the corner after dark. If re-adjustment is needed, I will try to bring it up 1/2" at a time, until it's right for me.
How did your adjustments work out for adding "through the turn" visibility?
Also, is there a MARKED or noticeable difference in the High Beam on this light? I have the Daymaker Reflector on my Street Glide with matching passing lamps, and my high beam only puts a hot-spot out about 20-30 feet in front of the bike; to the point that I ride with the high beam on ALL the time and never get flashed. Just wondering if there is enough difference to make me want to switch.
I see some people talking about a harness. When I go to the website they refer to this only fitting a Jeep, is there a harness to make it work on a bike? And also they do not have any running/highway lights listed on their site, do you have to but them from someone else?

I've got the lamp adjusted to the 35" height at 16' that the tech told me, but I haven't had the chance to ride at night yet. I bet I brought the beam UP 6 or 7" to get to 35"...Now we're in the middle of blizzard-like conditions, so I don't know WHEN I'll get to ride in the dark again. I WILL report back when I do.
