day maker ?? not what I expected, advice needed
Hey all,
Well $500.+ dollars later, and I can say from the minute I turned on this headlight I was not impressed.
Now the light itself is bright, that I will give you, but the shape of the lit path, is like a friggin Bat Man calling signal.......or a smiley face shape out in front of me. Others experience the same thing?
So, wondering about a couple of things...maybe someone has experienced this and has a good solution for me?
I would think I would not want to mix halogen and led lights....so? either I add a led auxiliary light kit? or??
Go back to the OEM headlight, add a PIA bulb? and maybe a jpcycles driving light kit?
So, let me have it guys?? anyone experience this scenario? and what was your solution....

So, I decided to purchase and give a PIA bulb a test in my OEM headlight. I actually prefer the way the OEM light beam lights up the road over the daymaker. That said, I will test with the PIA bulb and if acceptable....may put up my used day maker for sale.
Been installed and running the day maker for roughly 2 yrs. I figure 1/2 price-ish would be an acceptable offer wouldn't you say so?
